* Qualifications : – M.D. / Ph.D. in Pharmacology/ Chemistry/ /Pharmaceutical Sciences /Botany . Desirable (i) Experience in working on medicinal plants/natural products (ii) Experience in literature search by digital and traditional sources in the field of medicinal plants (iii) Flair for scientific writing, preparation of reviews, reports, monographs (iv) Working knowledge in computers
* Pay Scale : Rs. 23,000-/PM
* Age Limit : 40yrs

Application forms and other information can be obtained from the Office of the Director –in-Charge, Tuberculosis Research Centre, Epidemiology Unit, Mayor VR Ramanathan Road, Chetput, Chennai – 600 031 in person or downloaded from ICMR website www.icmr.nic.in, www.trc-chennai.org on or before the closing date. Application forms duly completed in all respects and signed by the applicant should be sent on the above mentioned address and should reach the Centre on or before the closing date along with the attested copies of the certificates in support of date of birth, educational qualification, experience etc and a crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) for Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) payable to the Director, Tuberculosis Research Centre, Chennai. SC/ST and physically handicapped candidates (PH) are exempted from the application fee payable in form of IPO. IPOs are payable by all other candidates including ICMR employees. Incomplete / late applications or without postal orders will not be entertained. Application received after the closing date for whatever reason is liable to be rejected. Application with evidence for proof of age (HSC certificate, educational qualifications and supporting documents for proof of age (HSC certificate), educational qualifications and supporting documents of experiences to be furnished for consideration. Unsigned/ Incomplete application or application without supportive evidence asked for/ without postal order application received late shall be summarily rejected.
