National Institute of Rock Mechanics (NIRM) Applications are invited for the Post of the Director
Post Name: Director
* Qualification: 1st Class B.E./B.Tech. or 1st Class M.Tech./M.E. in Mining/Civil Engineering (or) 1st Class Post Graduate in Earth Sciences.
* Desirable : Ph.D in Mining/Civil/Earth Sciences related to Rock Mechanics/Geotechnical engineering.
* Experience: Over 20 years of experience in research/teaching/industry with outstanding contribution in rock mechanics/geotechnical/ mining/civil engineering projects.
* Scale of Pay: PB–4 ( 37,400-67,000) ; Grade Pay 10,000
* Age Limit: Preferably below 55
Selection Procedure : The selection of the Director will be done by the Search-cum- Selection Committee which may also consider contact / nominated candidates for the post. Candidates called for the interview will be reimbursed AC II tier railway fare by the shortest route.
