Steel Authority of India limited (SAIL) has invited recruitment for the posts of Attendant cum technician (trainee) & Operator cum technician (trainee) Bhilai.

Applicant must be Qualified from Matriculation with ITI, All the Indian eligible candidates can apply for the same post before 12th November 2011 (12-11-2011).

Total number of vacancies are 188 and the name of the posts are:-
1. Attendant cum technician (trainee):-a. Fitter: 21,b. Electrician: 20,c. Welder: 10,d. Turner: 20,e. Mason: 4,f. Machinist: 5,g. Motor vehicle mechanist: 3,h. HV Driver: 10.

2. Operator cum technician (trainee) vacancies:-a. Mechanical: 38,b. Electrical: 31,c. Metallurgy: 22,d. Electronics: 12,e. Civil: 2.

Age of the Applicant must be between 18-28years as on 01-10-2011.

Application Feee:-All the Indian Eligible candidates will have to drawn demand draft (DD) of Rs.250/- in favour of steel authority of India ltd, Bhilai steel plant, payable at Bhilai. No fee for SC/ST & Physically handicapped.

Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test & interview.

Advertisement Date : 28/2/2011.

Written-Test Date : 3/7/2011.

Interview Date : 25/7/2011 To 30/7/2011.



This refers to our advertisement published in the National Dailies starting from 28/02/2011 followed by publication in the ‘Employment News’ on 12-18Th March, 2011 for recruitment of Operator-Cum-Technician (Trainee) (Grade:S3) and Attendant-cum- Technician (Trainee) (Grade:S1) in SAIL-IISCO Steel Plant (ISP), Burnpur. Written test was held on 3/7/2011 for the above posts followed by interview of the qualifying candidates from 25/7/2011 to 30/7/2011. Based on the outcome of the above tests of

the qualifying candidates, the list of Roll Numbers of the candidates selected for the above posts are given below along with their date of medical examination followed by their date of joining provided the candidate is found medically fit for the job. The candidates are advised to report for medical examination on the specific date as mentioned against their Roll Number positively by 8: 00 AM with empty stomach at Room No. 6 of OPD at Burnpur Hospital, Circular Road, Near Burnpur Stadium, Burnpur, West Bengal 713325. ‘Offer of Appointment’ along with other required forms

are being despatched through ‘Speed Post’ to the respective selected candidates at the address declared by them. In case of non-receipt of ‘Offer of Appointment’ letter before the scheduled date of medical examination, the listed selected candidates are advised to report at Burnpur Hospital on the specified date mentioned against their names along with the following documents:

(I) 6 Copies of recent passport size photographs duly attested by a Gazetted Officer.

(II) Matriculation Certificate/School Leaving Certificate and other authenticated documents in support of his/her date of birth, qualification, experience, caste etc.

(III) Copy of Interview Call Letter.
