* Constable Male : 3726 posts in various districts of Punjab
* Constable Female : 2000 posts in various districts of Punjab
* Pay Scale : Rs. 5910-20200 Grade pay Rs. 2000/-, Age : 18-25 years as on 01/01/2011, Qualification : 10+2 in any discipline or equivalent.

How to Apply : The application form in the prescribed format filled in all aspects with necessary documents in case of male candidates must reach the Chairman, District Recruitment Boards
Female candidates - The application form in the prescribed format filled in all aspects alongwith all the necessary documents in case of female candidates must reach the Chairman -cum-IGP Zone Recruitment Board for female (Zone concerned i.e Bathinda, Jallandhar, Border Amritsar & Patiala. up to 17/10/2011.
