North Eastern Hill University is a Central University established on 19 July 1973 by an Act of Indian Parliament. The University is located in the suburb of Shillong, the state capital of Meghalaya within the union of India.

There are total number of Posts are 155 Posts and the name of the posst are as given:-
1. Professor
2. Associate Professor
3. Assistant Professor

Application Fee: Eligible candidates will have to pay RS 500/- for general category and for OBC category candidates, RS 250/- for SC/ST candidates, and no fee for PWD. Fee may be paid through Demand Draft/ Banker Cheque drawn in favour of Finance Officer, NEHU payable at Shillong or also be paid through University Challan.
