Applications are invited from Married/Unmarried male candidates for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Indian Army.

* SSC Technical Officer : 50 posts in various Engineering Streams, Age : 20-27 years, Qualification : Engineering degree in relevant disciplnie, final year candidates can also apply. , Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 grade pay Rs.5400/- Plus MSP and other allowances.
* Physical Standard: min. height 157.5 cm and correlated weight

Method of Selection: Only selected (shortlisted) candidates will be called for Service Selection Board (SSB) interview at Allahabad, Bhopal and Bangalore for five selection process. In which candidates will be put through Psychological test, Group Test and Interview.

Recruitment of Havildar Education in the Army Educational Corps in Group 'X' and 'Y'

Havildar Education in Group 'X' and 'Y' are to be recruited for the army Education corps to impart education to troops. Applications are invited from male candidates for recruitment as Havildar (Education) in Group 'X' and 'Y' in the Army Educational Corps of Indian Army :

• Havildar Education Corps in Group X and Y : 178 posts (Science- 110, Arts - 168), Age : 20 to 25 years as on 07/03/2011, Educational : Group X - BA, B.Ed. or B.Sc. B.Ed. or BCA B.Ed. or MA or M.Sc or MCA. from any recognised university. Group Y - BA or B.Sc.or BCA without B.Ed. from any recognised university. The candidates should have working knowledge of either english or Hindi or both. Also in the graduation at least two of the following subjects should be at the graduation level : B.Sc. / BCA - Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Electronics, Computer Science, BA - English Literature, Hindi Literature, Urdu Literature, History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Psychology, Mathematics, Sociology, Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs.2800 plus Millitary Service Pay Rs.2000 + X Group pay Rs.1400/-

• Selection Procedure : first there will a screening of the candiddates for (i) Physical fitness Test and (ii) Medical Standards and (iii) those candidates selected in the screening and are medically fit will be permitted to apear in the written examination which will be conducted on at HQ Recruiting Zone/ IRO Delhi Cantt on 31/07/2011. After this written examination those who will be declared successfull in the written exam will called for interview and training aptitude test at Panchmarhi (MP)

National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination (II) - 2011

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold the NDA-II and Naval Academy (NA) Examination (II) , 2011 on 21/08/2011 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wing of the NDA for 128th Course and Naval Academy for 90th [10+2 Executive Branch] course commencing from June 2012. Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible,

Posts : 335 (Army-195, Navy-39, Air Force - 66, Navy Academy- 35)

Eligibility:

• Age : Born between 2nd July, 1993 and 1st January,1996.
• Educational Qualification
• for Army : 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
• For Air Force, Navy and Naval Academy : 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University with Physics and Mathematics subjects
• Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulations given in notice.

Application Form: Candidates can choose either of Online of Offline application form. For Offline mode - The candidates must apply in the Common Application Form devised by the Commission for its examinations, which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/ Post offices throughout the country against cash payment of Rs. 30/- only.

Fee: Rs.50/- for the candidates applying Online to be deposited in any branch of SBI or Online by Net Banking Or by Credit/ Debit card and for the candidates applying Offline - Rs.100/- through Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only. SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment (OBC candidates required to pay full fee).

Offline - All applications must reach the "Controller of Examinations, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069" either by hand or by Post/Speed Post or by courier on or before the 9th May, 2011. Applications are invited from Indian Nationals both male and female who have passed their final MBBS examination for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Army Medical Corps. Applicants for who have taken more than 2 chances in final MBBS need not apply.

Vacancies : 100 posts

Eligibility: Candidates must possess medical qualification. Post Graduate degree holders i.e. MD/ MS/ MCh/ DM may also apply. PG Degree in following subjects will be given preference (a) Anaesthesia (b) Surgery (c) Obstetrics & Gyenaecology (d) Medicine (e) Orthopedics (f) Respiratory Medicine. The applicant must have permanent registration from any State Medical Council/ MCI. Candidates who will be complting internship by the last date of submission of application may also apply.

Age : must not have attained 45 years of age on 31st Dec 2011.

Pay Band : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 + Grade pay Rs.6100 + Military Service Pay (MSP) Rs.6000 + NPA @25% of Basic+Grade Pay+MSP and other

Method of Selection : Eligible candidates will be called for interview by a Board of officers by a Board of Officers in the month of Jul/Aug 2011 at Army Hospital (Research & Referral) New Delhi, Near Daula Kuan, Delhi Cantt.

Tenure : The tenure is of 5 years extendable by another 5 years (total SSC tenure 10 years) for those who are willing to continue subject to laid down eligibility criteria.

Fee : One DD of Rs.200/- payable at New Delhi in favour of "Director General Armed Forces Medical Services (APF Fund)"
